For legendary softball pitcher Jennie Finch, her Untouchable Moment occurred on USA Softball’s journey to the gold medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics. She credits the experience to a synergy between “mind, body and equipment.”
“Equipment is such a key factor,” says Finch. “It’s something that you don’t want to think about or [be] a distraction. It’s part of your body and allows you to be the best you can be. When your mind, body and equipment come together, that’s when you have those moments.”
