Last Sunday night, Denver Broncos running back C. J. Anderson ran for the game-winning touchdown in overtime to put an end to the New England Patriots’ undefeated season—and it wasn’t even his most impressive move of the game.
[youtube video=”4N9IjSdUcoY” /]That happened with 10 minutes left in the second quarter, when Anderson lined up in the backfield alongside quarterback Brock Osweiler, then snuck out into the left flat for a pass. Patriots defenders quickly closed on him, but Anderson had no intention of going down. Safety Patrick Chung tried to bring him down by his shoulders, but Anderson grabbed him and flung him to the ground like he weighed absolutely nothing. Anderson chugged forward for about 5 more yards before finally being taken down by a group of defenders.
Anderson’s touchdown run may have vanquished a rival, but it was his manhandling of Chung that had us watching the replay over and over again.
