Another day, another female athlete kicking ass. (Yesterday it was a nine-year-old completing a Navy SEAL course.) This time it’s 21-year old powerlifter Gabrielle Tucker.
Tucker, who weighs 125 pounds, just hit her first 300-pound Squat—2.4 times her body weight. For all you folks out there who will inevitably call this weak, here’s some food food for thought. If you weigh 200 pounds, this would be equivalent to a 480-pound Squat. And research shows that females have about two-thirds the strength of males at the same body weight due to generally lower muscle-to-fat ratios.

So yes, this is damn impressive.
Tucker regularly posts videos of her powerlifting accomplishments. She’s a junior World Record holder in the Deadlift and regularly pulls over 400 pounds off the floor.
Also, she recently posted on Reddit the weekly routine she’s been following to achieve her goal of lifting a combined 900 pounds on the Deadlift, Squat and Bench Press.
