The 2-time NFL MVP created an Instagram account before Game 1 of the Finals, and he decided to show off his basketball skills while listening to Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight.” In the short clip Rodgers posted, he went 4-of-5 from the field, displaying a pretty decent midrange jumper.
Rodgers used some interesting hashtags such as #midrange, #lostArt and #onlyMidrange. He seems to be against shooting the deep ball, but why attempt a 3-point shot when you are so good at midrange.
We aren’t sure whether Rodgers is Golden State Warriors fan, but he wears a Zaza Pachulia jersey in the video. He might only be a Pachulia fan because the jersey dates from when the Warriors center played for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Rodgers is following only one person on his new account, and it happens to be Pachulia.
We shouldn’t be surprised by his smooth jump shot; Rodgers played point guard for his high school basketball team.
