He also happens to be totally crazy. Alabama football's Director of Strength and Conditioning constantly barks orders and encouragement to his players, so much so that his voice has become permanently hoarse. Most of Alabama's players tower over Cochran, but no one can match his energy. Cochran has become a master of motivation, and the program pays him a $535,000 annual salary for his intensity and intellect.
