Watch Ben Simmons Throw Down Some Big Dunks During Practice
Ben Simmons, the 2016 NBA No. 1 draft pick by the Philadelphia 76ers, has not had the rookie season he hoped for. After injuring his foot during the early stages of training camp, he has yet to play in a game. And since the most recent scan shows his foot is not fully healed, the 6-foot-10 point-forward won’t play at all this season.
But all is not lost for 76ers fans.

During Tuesday’s team shootaround before their game against the Golden State Warriors, Simmons was on the floor performing drills. And instead of finishing with boring ol’ layups, the 20-year-old threw down some monster dunks, showing Sixers fans what they are waiting patiently for.

It looks like Simmons’ recovery is moving in the right direction. The Australia native not only shows off a couple of dunks, he also displays his handle, his shot and even some of his soccer skills. All Sixers fans can do is wait and #TrustTheProcess.
