WATCH: Draymond Green Just Can’t Stop Kicking People
Draymond Green narrowly avoided a suspension after swinging his leg directly into Steven Adams’ groin in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. But even the threat of having to sit out one of the most important games of his career apparently can’t stop him from using his leg like a weapon.
By winning Game 5 last night, the Warriors extended their season by at least one more game, but Green was up to his same old antics. This time he almost took Thunder guard Andre Roberson’s head clean off. After missing a turnaround floater in the lane, a shot contested by both Roberson and Russell Westbrook, Green flailed his right leg out again, grazing Roberson’s face.
Fortunately it was not a direct hit, or Green’s karate move could have inflicted major pain and damage to Roberson’s face. Even if Green isn’t doing this on purpose, his penchant for kicking opponents has gotten way out of control. Eventually it might end up doing more damage than just a kick to the groin if it’s not stopped soon.
