WATCH: Five-Star DE Robert Beal Commits to Georgia With Epic Warehouse Workout Video
College football recruits aren’t afraid to get creative when they announce their commitments.
Some of the wackier announcements we’ve seen include shooting paintballs, sky diving and holding up a live alligator. But Robert Beal decided to announce his choice by doing the same thing that earned him his offers in the first place—working his butt off.

A 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end, Beal is currently rated as a five-star recruit by 247Sports.com. After spending his first three high school seasons at Norcross High School in Norcross, Georgia, Beal will play his senior season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. His college decision ultimately came down to Alabama, Georgia, Florida State or Texas. Check out how he announced he was picking the Bulldogs in this video from Bleacher Report:
Pretty epic, right?
The video also features Nathan O’Neal, Beal’s long-time trainer at Georgia Sports Performance. “Robert is so fast, and as big as he is, he runs a 4.51 [40-Yard Dash],” O’Neal told 247Sports. “He wants to go to UGA and be prepared to step foot on campus and play right away.” Judging by his ability to bully hulking offensive lineman, that goal isn’t too much of a stretch:
