Hip-hop star Jay Z loves basketball. The rapper used to own a stake in the Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center; but you might not know that Jay Z has a nephew who is pretty darn good at basketball.
[youtube video=”kMHSeBFtfHI” /]Nahziah Carter is a shooting guard for the Albany City Rocks in the Nike EYBL. According to Rivals.com, he is a 3-star recruit for the class of 2017. It must be tough being known as “Jay Z’s nephew,” but Carter is starting to make a name for himself.

Over the weekend, Carter performed a nasty poster dunk on another player. But not just any player; it was Marvin Bagley, the No. 1-ranked high school baller in the class of 2018. Not only is Bagley a 5-star recruit, he is 6-foot-10, 5 inches taller than Carter.

Jay Z was in the stands watching his nephew, and by the looks of it, he was pretty impressed with the dunk.

Carter finished with only six points, but his team won 66-56. He has yet to commit to a college, but he reportedly is considering Georgetown, Indiana and Washington.
