Professional athletes must occasionally attend silly promotional events on their off days, and New York Knicks rookie phenom Kristaps Porzingis is no exception. Porzingis spent Wednesday at a Delta Airlines-sponsored event entitled "Fly Like a Pro," in which he was forced to play hoops against ESPN reporter Darren Rovell and a few small children.
Porzingis schooled Rovell, but when it was time to take on the kids, things didn't go so well. One of the kids tossed the ball through Porzingis's legs, nutmegging him, before scooping the ball up on the other side and nailing a layup over the 7-footer's outstretched arms. Thrilled that he scored a bucket against an NBA pro, the kid added insult to injury by dabbing on poor Porzingis to celebrate his accomplishment.
Welcome to New York, Kristaps, where small children will be dabbing on you for the rest of your life.
