Watch ‘Last Chance U’ Star Ronald Ollie Rumble His Way to an 84-Yard Touchdown
Ronald Ollie was one of the biggest stars in the Netflix documentary series Last Chance U. The defensive tackle endeared himself to viewers with his aggressive play on the field and his lovable, goofy demeanor off it. Ollie has since transferred to Nicholls State University, a school that competes in the Southland Conference of the NCAA’s FCS Division (formerly known as 1-AA).
In Nicholls State’s most recent game, Ollie did something few defensive tackles get a chance to do—score a touchdown. In the first quarter, Houston Baptist lined up to kick a 26-yard field goal. The kick was blocked, and Ollie scooped up the ball on a bounce and rumbled 84 yards for the touchdown:

Nicholls State went on to win the game in double overtime. Ollie had a dominant performance. He tallied eight total tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. His touchdown led to his being named the Southland Special Teams Player of the Week.
