WATCH: LeBron James Addresses Hundreds of Fans Waiting Outside His Home After Winning the NBA Championship
As if there weren’t enough Clevelanders waiting to greet the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers at the airport when they flew home after partying in Las Vegas until the wee hours of Monday morning, LeBron James had another welcome party waiting outside his home.

As LeBron stepped out of the van carrying him and his family, he surveyed the scene, and a huge smile crept across his face. He then grabbed a microphone and addressed the crowd, telling the fans that this championship wasn’t just for Cleveland but for all of Northeast Ohio. His words were met by a huge roar.
As he joked about needing a long nap, he ended his speech by saying “I’m just a kid from Akron,” and the crowd went bonkers. What an amazing scene to cap off an amazing run.
