WATCH: Miami Heat Guard Goran Dragic Gets Tooth Knocked Out, Casually Throws It to the Sideline and Keeps Playing
Usually, when a normal human being has a tooth knocked out, a three-step process follows. First, confusion. Then, panic. Finally, a sense of overwhelming dread as the victim envisions an unattractive gap in their mouth for the foreseeable future, rendering their Tinder game moot.
None of these things happened to Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic, though, because athletes are a different breed of human. When the Detroit Pistons’ Spencer Dinwiddie hit Dragic in the mouth while guarding him on the perimeter, sending one of Dragic’s precious teeth spilling out into his hand, Dragic wasn’t confused, nor did he panic. Nope. He did quite the opposite. He simply tossed the tooth over to the sideline, like, “Here, coach, give this to the Tooth Fairy.”
That sounds you hear is hockey players everywhere applauding.
