The Power Clean is an explosive Olympic lift. You must move the bar quickly and thrust it up, executing a triple extension through your hips, knees and ankles.
The Power Clean helps Williams improve his blocking, which requires him to engage opponents and either push them back or take them down. Though fullbacks don’t run the ball much anymore, their blocking can help open holes for a running back to break into the secondary.

In May, Williams, who played football at Division II Mars Hill University in North Carolina, earned a scholarship from the University of Miami. Based on how his Power Clean looks, Williams could be a solid contributor for the Hurricanes.
