We’ve been following Rondae Hollis-Jefferson since he was a star at Chester High School in Pennsylvania, so it’s pretty cool to see him getting ready to begin his rookie season with the Brooklyn Nets. What’s even cooler, though, is this video of Hollis-Jefferson and his older brother surprising their mother with a brand new house on her birthday.

Hollis-Jefferson admits he missed a few of his mom’s birthdays when he was growing up, so this is all a part of making up for it. The house looks awesome, with a backyard patio that I’d like to sit in for the rest of my days. Hollis-Jefferson’s mother thinks she’s being taken to a friend’s house, but once she sees her two sons and the “sold” sign out front, it’s one of the most touching moments you’ll ever see. Props to you, Rondae.
