WATCH: Serena Williams Eats Dog Food, Suffers an Inevitable Consequence
Tennis superstar Serena Williams is taking eating Puppy Chow to a new level. No, the 21-time Grand Slam winner didn’t eat the popular snack—she ate actual dog food.
On her Snapchat story, Williams explained her experience eating her dog Chip’s food, which consisted of salmon and rice. She ordered the gourmet food (gourmet dog food?) for her pup off a hotel menu for dogs.
Salmon and rice are a typical combination for dog food. If dogs eat it, it must be good, right? Humans should probably not eat dog food under any circumstances, but presumably Williams thought the food looked appetizing. After she ate it, however, she realized it is not suitable for human consumption. The tennis star said on her Snapchat story that she immediately felt nauseous after eating it. Well, it is dog food.
Williams is currently preparing to compete in the French Open in Internazionali BNL d’Italia. She will play American Christina McHale on Thursday.
