Watch This NYC High School Receiver Score on the Prettiest Screen Pass Ever
Sometimes, a play is just too pretty to describe.
This is one of those plays, so sit back and watch Amad Anderson do his thing:
Wow. That’s about as beautiful as a 13-yard touchdown reception can look. The one-handed catch was dazzling, the juke move was nasty, and the hurdle was poetry in motion. The play helped Anderson’s Curtis High School (New York City) defeat Midwood High School and advance to the semifinals of the Public Schools Athletic League playoff.
Anderson, a junior wide receiver, is currently ranked as a three-star recruit by 247Sports.com. If he keeps making plays like this, we wouldn’t be surprised to see his rating creep even higher. Anderson currently holds offers from Rutgers, Syracuse and Wagner. Over the summer, he won the award for top wide receiver at the Deion Sanders Prime 21 Elite Football Camp, an invitation-only event sponsored by Under Armour.
