What Defines the Champion in You?
Have you ever thought about the true meaning of “champion”? Is it coming away with the championship trophy at the end of the season, or is it simply overcoming a challenge—going further in the face of adversity than you ever did before?
Champs Sports wants to know your thoughts on the subject—and they’re giving away $50,000 in college scholarships and a trip to the 2010 Champs Sports Bowl to entice you.
Just submit a short essay (up to 300 words) describing how you are a Champs Sports Champion on the field, in the classroom or in your community. Think of ways you’ve given back, helped your team or inspired classmates, and put it on paper by Nov. 14. [For tips and ideas, check out video of past winners here.] Attach a personal photo along with your essay, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win money for college. There will be 23 winners, so your odds are pretty good.

Contest Details:
Three finalists will win $5,000 scholarships and a trip for two to the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, Fla. on Dec. 29, where the winner of the grand prize of $10,000 will be announced.
