Xavier Rhodes’s 100-Yard Pick-6 Was a Jaw-Dropping Display of Pure Speed
The NFL play of Week 11 was Xavier Rhodes’s supersonic pick-6 against the Arizona Cardinals.
The Minnesota Vikings cornerback covered the entire length of the field in the blink of an eye:

How fast did Rhodes run? Well, consider this. John Brown—the Arizona Cardinals receiver who chased him during much of the return—ran a 4.34 40-Yard Dash at the NFL Combine. He didn’t even come close to catching Rhodes.
Rhodes now has four interceptions on the season and is on track to make his first Pro Bowl. This off-season, he trained in Miami with elite players like Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry and Antonio Brown. “You’re going against the best,” Rhodes told 1500ESPN about his training. “Those guys are labeled as some of the best in the league. So going against those guys, getting that work off the field, there’s no choice other than to get better.”
