Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine introduced himself to NBA fans very loudly last season when he dominated the Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star Weekend. He was only a rookie, but he put the rest of the league on notice that if he is given a lane, he will catapult himself into the air and dunk all over you.
As a sophomore, LaVine wasted no time asserting himself as one of the best dunkers in the league. On this dunk against the Charlotte Hornets, he takes off from just inside the free-throw line and goes full springboard, floating through the air, cocking his hand back and defying all the laws of gravity, physics and human capabilities.
Long live the dunking man.
