A Walking Boot Isn't Stopping Eagles Draft Pick Sidney Jones From Pumping Iron During His Achilles Rehab

With the 43rd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Sidney Jones out of the University of Washington. Once a potential top-10 prospect, Jones saw his stock drop when he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon at his Pro Day.

But Jones is not letting the injury slow him down.

The ballhawking cornerback recently posted a video to his Instagram Story showing him working out wearing a walking boot. The 6-foot, 186-pound defensive back performs Weighted Dips with a thick chain hanging from his neck to build his upper-body strength and help him come back stronger.

Jones finished his college career with 145 total tackles, eight interceptions, 21 passes defended and two forced fumbles. He is hoping to heal in time to return for the season and prove that he is the best corner in this year's draft class.
