LeBron James's Playoff Workouts Are Just as Crazy as You'd Expect

LeBron James, playoff edition, has been activated.

After allowing the Indianapolis Pacers to race out to a 74-49 halftime lead during Game 3, James and the Cleveland Cavaliers stormed back for a 119-114 victory to grab a 3-0 series lead. No team in NBA postseason history has come back to win from a larger halftime deficit.

LeBron has a habit of stepping up his game during the postseason, and last night was no different. His stat line was nothing short of spectacular—41 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists, 2 blocks and a steal. He also drained six 3-pointers, something he hasn't done in a playoff game since 2010.

Shortly before Game 3, LeBron released a video of his training on his UNINTERRUPTED network. Take a look:

LeBron's core strength and body control are off the charts for an athlete his size. How many 6-foot-8, 250-pound dudes can do Dumbbell Curls while kneeling on a physioball? Or do a Push-Up during the full extension of a Standing Ab Rollout? These are absurd feats of strength and balance.

Other exercises shown in LeBron's workout include Sumo Deadlifts, Standing Cable Chest Presses, Cable Rotational Chops, Dumbbell Lateral Raises and Medball Push-Ups. You'll notice that LeBron doesn't use a ridiculous amount of weight on any of these exercises. He's more concerned with proper technique and full range of motion. Perhaps that's why he's one of the most durable players in NBA history.

LeBron will surely post more monster games throughout the 2017 postseason, but what he's doing off the court to prepare might be just as impressive.
