Personal Grooming Articles

Grooming refers to conditions and practices that help athletes present a clean-cut appearance, maintain good health and prevent the spread of diseases. In the sweaty, grimy world of sports, keeping hair and body clean often requires special products designed for athletes, including soaps, shampoos, antiperspirants and skin cleansers, as well as toothpaste, toothbrushes and mouthwash. Staying healthy also requires laundering soiled athletic clothes and towels and scrubbing equipment (such as shoulder pads) to keep them free of bacteria. Learn how to practice good hygiene so you can stay healthy, avoid illness and perform at your highest level.
