Roy Holmes

Roy Holmes is the performance manager and a performance specialist at Athletes’ Performance in Frisco, Texas, where he oversees the elite and college performance programs. Before joining the AP team, he was the performance director of innovation and adult fitness coordinator for Velocity Sports Performance in Carlsbad, California. Throughout Roy’s career, he has had the opportunity to work with several NFL, CFL and Arena football athletes, including the Combine preparations at Athletes’ Performance for a pair of 2012 #1 picks: quarterback Andrew Luck, the 2012 #1 NFL Draft pick and offensive lineman Ben Heenan, the 2012 #1 CFL Draft pick. Roy also was one of the lead coaches for the Combine preparation of defensive back Josh Robinson, who ran the fastest 40-yard dash at the 2012 NFL Combine in 4.33 seconds. Roy is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and a graduate of Northern Arizona University, where he played as a defensive back for the Lumberjacks.
