X Series JAWS Wedge
Created by Callaway’s chief designer Roger Cleveland, the X Series JAWS wedge is worth a look if you want to add some bite to your short game. Whether you’re buried in tall fescue or trying to master the flop shot, playing out of trouble situations has never been easier.
The forged carbon steel club features a new C-Grind sole that relieves heel and toe bounce, improves the club head’s ground interaction and makes it easier to open the clubface in troublesome lies.
What makes this wedge a shark on the course is its “MACK Daddy groove system,” named by PGA star and Callaway staff professional, Phil Mickelson. The club’s depth and width promote more bite into the ball upon contact, leading to increased spin for more precise and accurate shots.
Available in two finishes, Dark Vintage or Milky Chrome, with either steel or graphite shafts, the X Series Jaws Wedge sells for between $109 and $139.
Tour i Series ball
Have you’ve heard the expression, “the golf ball has eyes”? Well, there’s one eye, anyway, in the Callaway Tour i Series Golf Ball. Used by Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and Lorena Ochoa, it features a Tungsten-Infused Outer Core for increased distance and accuracy and Dual Core Construction for greater distance off the tee and more spin around the green. Callaway’s goal was to find a ball that didn’t benefit only big hitters. Feeling better? A dozen Tour i’s will cost you $40.
