With his Batman trilogy completed, director/producer Christopher Nolan has turned his attention to one of the most beloved American superheros of all time, Superman. As a producer for the upcoming film, Man of Steel (releasing in 2013), Nolan will work with director Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) to give the franchise a much-needed makeover. As Superman’s story goes, an alien infant with superhuman abilities is raised on Earth, then uses his powers to protect his adopted planet.
