Watch 39-Year-Old Chad Johnson Attempt to Cover Antonio Brown 1-On-1
We no longer have the pleasure of seeing Chad Johnson operate on Sunday afternoons, but thanks to his wonderful social media accounts, the man who once legally changed his last name to Ochocinco can live forever.
Despite having announced his daily affection for McDonald’s, Johnson remains in remarkable shape; and he still spends plenty of time on the football field, helping train younger athletes and guys still in the NFL, while talking an ungodly amount of trash in the process.
Recently, Johnson has begun playing defensive back, attempting to cover NFL wide receivers. First, he went at Atlanta Falcons wideout Mohomad Sanu, covering him pretty decently on a slant route before Sanu got loose and made a fantastic one-handed snare over the middle on his second attempt.
This week, Johnson decided to up the level of competition, linking up with Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown. Attempting to cover one of the best in the NFL. Johnson claims to have held Brown to one catch on four attempts. In the only video posted to Johnson’s Twitter account, he stays with Brown step-for-step before Brown comes out of his break on a curl to snag the pass.
I’m on his a** and I don’t play DB‼️ @AntonioBrown pic.twitter.com/gz4LvXuwGr
