Greasy burgers, chicken fingers and nachos coated with a cheese-like substance are probably the first things that come to mind when we say “fast food”—and since you’re an athlete and take care of your body, odds are you’re not going near the stuff.
But fast food doesn’t have to be taboo, if you prepare it correctly. Arm yourself with a microwave and a few basic kitchen tools and you can whip up dishes loaded with the protein, carbs and healthy fats you need to keep going long after the final whistle. Best part? They don’t taste like you nuked ’em.
