Few athletes are better on the microphone than UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen, who proved once again over the weekend that he’s as good as it gets at talking trash. After winning a controversial split decision over Michael Bisping at UFC on Fox 2—thereby earning another crack at middleweight champion Anderson Silva—Sonnen gave a post-fight interview that did not disappoint. Check it out.
Some context: in their first title fight, UFC 117 back in October 2010, Sonnen dominated Silva throughout, until Silva forced him to tap out with minutes left in the fifth and final round. Since then, Sonnen has gone out of his way to taunt the champion and make a spectacle when given the chance. Now, he’ll get another opportunity to subdue Silva, a striker whom many consider pound-for-pound the best fighter in the world.
