STACK never keeps you waiting for the latest performance info from top athletes. In similar fashion, EA Sports is now rewarding their fans [us included] with a new program called EA Sports Season Ticket. Subscribers have access to popular sports titles like Madden NFL 12 three days in advance.
“We’ve spent considerable time listening to fans and building this program, and our goal has been to create something for our core audience,” says EA Sports president Peter Moore. Subscribers not only have early access to classic franchises like NHL and FIFA, but downloadable content comes at a 20 percent discount. Season Ticket is available to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners for an annual fee of $24.99.
Non-subscribers to Season Ticket will still be able to play their favorite EA Sports games with no loss of functionality. Moore says, “Your game experience with EA Sports and all of its franchises does not change one iota.” Season Ticket merely enhances the experience with web content.
EA Sports Season Ticket will evolve. Moore says the company will continue to listen to requests from fans and add benefits to the program to meet them. Meantime, check out our interview with EA Sports creative director Mike Young on what to expect from Madden NFL 12.
