Jordan CP3.VII Out This Week in 4 Colorways
The new Jordan CP3.VII collection of men’s basketball shoes was released this week in three different color schemes: a traditional Black/White-Gym Red-White combination; a Black/White-Team Red-Gym Red combo with a hint of blue (for an understated patriotic theme); and a Black/Gamma Blue-White-Flash Lime mix with a hint of florescent blue, purple, pink and lime for a retro, 80s look. A fourth colorway, predominantly purple, is also available.
Regardless of which color scheme you choose, the shoe displays the familiar Michael Jordan “Jumpman” logo on the heel and bottom sole, as well as shank plate digits, which refer to the children of L.A. Clippers point guard Chris Paul. Paul’s initials are also prominently displayed on the tongue, and the number 7 is featured on the toe—a nod to the speed and performance associated with racing and sports cars.
This latest collection from Nike’s Team Jordan Brand has been designed to enhance Paul’s style of play on the court, where he is known for speed. The shoe features new Podulite material for better cushioning and stylish perforations on the upper for ventilation. The heel is integrated with laces that wrap around the middle of the foot and arch to provide maximum security and minimize shifting inside the shoe. A herringbone pattern on the sole adds extra grip and traction.
The Jordan CP3.VII collection is now available for men in sizes 8 through 15 for about $125. The Black/Gamma Blue-White-Flash Lime color scheme is also available for boys in sizes 3.5 to 7 for around $95.
