Mario Williams To Bring His ‘Best Attitude Ever’ to the Miami Dolphins
Mario Williams is on the road to redemption.
The former No. 1 overall draft pick and four-time Pro Bowler had subpar production during the 2015 season for the Buffalo Bills. In 15 games, the defensive end only had 5 sacks and 19 total tackles.
Rumors surfaced from the Bills organization that Williams was not happy in Buffalo, and that he had butted heads with the coaching staff and teammates. He was released from the Bills on March 1, and was signed by the Miami Dolphins within a week.
Williams is looking forward to the 2016 NFL season. The sun shines brighter in Miami, which should correlates with his attitude about playing for his new team.
Here is a quote from Williams according to the Dolphins:
“The No. 1 thing that you can definitely look forward to [from me] is attitude,” Williams said, via the team’s website. “I think any year, no matter what happens previous, you can’t look at the future or anything like that, but you can handle right now. And my biggest thing, every day I wake up is going to be the best attitude I’ve ever had. And with attitude, everything is going to follow. I know for sure I’m going to be out there humming 100 miles per hour and it’s going to be full attitude.”
With the defensive front line boasting star players Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh, Williams can look forward to maximizing his potential this upcoming season.
