Italian fashion label Marni has announced a collaboration with the chic (and affordable) Swedish retail chain H&M, promising classic European style at a student-friendly price.
Some of Marni's trademarks include bold, contrasting color combinations, soft fabrics and subtle prints. The new Marni for H&M men's line will offer excellent off-the-field staples for student-athletes on a budget.
Marni founder and creative director Consuelo Castiglioni hopes to create the same detail and fine styling in the H&M line as are found in the designer collection. She says the new line should offer "a relaxed take on masculine classics," adding, "it's going to speak to a wider audience and particularly to the younger generations."
Expect strong, natural and masculine looks in the Marni for H&M line, scheduled for released in March 2012. (The image above, from the 2011 fall/winter men's collection, might offer a taste of what's to come.)
Marni apparel is sold in 260 stores worldwide and online. View a behind-the-scenes video of the product line (below), and stay tuned for more details.
