Punk icon Pushead, a.k.a. Brian Schroeder, rose to fame by creating influential and creative artwork. Now, Pushead is making waves by teaming up with Nike to create a Fall 2012 clothing line exclusively for surfers.
The most notable piece in the “Specimen Collection” is the Pushead x Nike Surfing Legacy TC Boardshort. The colorful boardshorts became an instant hit after being worn by pro surfer Kolohe Andino in a popular surf video.
These boardshorts are one-of-a-kind. Features include four-way stretch, allowing surfers to comfortably and gracefully maneuver the waves, and lightweight Hydra Void fabric, a technology that heightens the fabric’s ability to repel water. By combining style, comfort and Hydra Void technology, Pushead’s new boardshorts are likely to become an essential piece of gear in the surfing community.
