Puma kicked off 2013 in impressive fashion with the release of the "Fire & Ice" BioWeb Elite. Now the brand is making noise again with the release of the BioWeb Elite LTD. The updated cross-trainer showcases Puma's WebCage upper, crafted of breathable mesh with injected polyurethane overlays for a flexible and supportive experience. The BioWeb Elite also features a newly designed outsole with a "fade" graphic treatment. This change offers dimension and exceptional style to the breathable, functional mesh upper.
If you're looking for a strong shoe with heel stability, this is a great choice. The BioWeb Elite LTD features a TPU heel wrap for impact protection, which makes it a good candidate for uneven terrain on a trail or a mud run. Often, shoes with solid stability can be bulky and heavy. We found the BioWeb Elite LTD to be light, and we were impressed with its total weight of 10.4 ounces. The shoe also provided excellent traction when put to our agility test of quick cuts and explosive movements.
