In 2001, artist Shepard Fairey, who was best known for displaying his graphic work on billboards and the sides of buildings, created OBEY clothing as another canvas to showcase his art. Over the years, the brand, which initially relied heavily on graphic T-shirts, has evolved into a well-rounded collection.
The holiday 2011 line consists of outerwear, including heavyweight insulated and quilted jackets, with layering pieces. Our favorites are the denim jacket with wool lining and the camo quilted jacket. Plaid continues to be a favorite this holiday season, and OBEY offers several selections in button-downs. Accessories include beanies and snapback caps.
OBEY apparel can be purchased directly at their online store and is also sold in 20 countries worldwide.
