Watch DeMarcus Cousins Execute a Full-Court Bounce Pass That Most Guards Wouldn’t Attempt

Cousins showed all of these skills Monday night against the Philadelphia 76ers. He finished the night with 46 points, 4-of-6 from deep, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. His stat line provides conclusive evidence that the big man position in the NBA is changing. Most teams have a big man who can stretch the floor and/or find an open teammate for a dime, but last night, Boogie made a pass that even most point guards would not attempt.
Cousins, recently voted to his third NBA All-Star Game, showed off his improved passing ability by throwing an incredibly accurate full-court bounce pass. After grabbing a defensive rebound, the 26-year-old took one dribble and threw the ball from one free-throw line to the other. Unfortunately, his beautiful pass did not result in an assist, because his teammate was fouled and missed the shot.

The pass was so nice, his teammates watching from the pine gave him a standing ovation. But the 76ers won the game 122-119.
