WATCH: Ezekiel Elliott Embarresses Cowboys Defender With Nasty Juke and Scores TD
The Dallas Cowboys didn’t have much going for them during the 2015 NFL season. Starting quarterback Tony Romo and Pro Bowl receiver Dez Bryant were injured, their offense ranked 22nd overall, and they went 4-12. One thing that did go right for them: their off-season.

To strengthen their anemic offense, the Cowboys selected Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth pick of the 2016 Draft. It seems to have paid off. Darren McFadden, who led Dallas in rushing last season with 1,089 yards, is injured, and Elliott has been taking first-team reps.
During a 11-on-11 drill at minicamp Thursday, Zeke was handed the ball and quickly made it into the secondary, where he was met by sophomore safety Byron Jones. Zeke put Jones on skates with a nasty juke, left him in the dust and scored a touchdown.

Although Dallas’s defense was poor last year, Jones was a bright spot. As a rookie, he started 11 games and made 66 tackles. He’s also an athletic freak. At last year’s NFL Combine, he jumped an amazing 44.5-inch vertical and set a world record with a 12-foot, 3-inch Broad Jump.
If Zeke is already embarrassing freak athletes, he might have a great rookie season. Check out the impressive run in the video below.
