Run Lighter, Run Faster With the adiZero Feather 2.0
Want to train faster? adidas has the shoe for you. Weighing in at 6.7 ounces, the new adiZero Feather 2.0 is one of the lightest running shoes on the market.
“[Feather 2.0] will take [athletes’] training to the next level,” says Mikal Peveto, director of running for adidas America. “ This is more than just a shoe for runners. It’s a shoe for the athlete who wants to reach higher, jump further and be faster.”
The Feather 2.0’s updated Sprint Frame is designed to add comfort and return energy lost in the stride while reducing weight. Also updated is adidas’s TORSION technology, which allows front and back freedom of motion in each shoe. The lightweight mesh SprintWeb offers both support and breathability.
The Feather 2.0 has already won over elite athletes like Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller and Buffalo Bills running back CJ Spiller. Both of these NFL All-Stars are making the shoe their secret weapon of choice for off-season training.
“What I do off the field in training makes the difference on game day,” said Miller. “It’s called ‘The Feather’ for a reason. This is the lightest shoe I’ve ever run in for training.”
Retailing for $115 on adidas.com, the Feather 2.0 is available in eight different color schemes. Check back with STACK in the coming weeks for our take on training in the new shoes.
