Adrian Peterson’s Cardio Workout Is All Kinds of Insane
Adrian Peterson’s career as a running back is winding down, but that doesn’t mean the former Minnesota Viking great is holding anything back as looks to sign with an NFL team for the 2018 season.
Peterson struggled in the backfield for the New Orleans Saints last season, and was eventually traded to the Arizona Cardinals in October, where he faired a little better. As the offseason progresses, Peterson wants to show teams he still has something left in the tank, and his cardio routine should leave no doubt that the dude is still in incredible shape.
7 mile run routine, First mile speed of 6, second mile ran at 9 and for the next 5 miles alternate lap speed 5.0-6.5 for 1 then speed at 12 for 1 repeat for a total of 20 Laps. and ask for strength before starting! It helped me fight through. pic.twitter.com/Mzc11B2U8z

Peterson posted a snippet of his treadmill workout to Twitter, along with instructions on how to follow it, and it’s pretty bonkers. Peterson runs a total of 7 miles, running the first at 6 miles per hour, running the second at 9 (!!!), then breaking down the remaining 5 miles into 20 laps, alternating between speeds of 5-6.5 and 12. Yes, you read that correctly. Twelve miles per hour.
If you can complete this, you might want to start giving some NFL teams a call.
