Air Jordan Laces Up Five College Hoops Teams With Custom AJ XXXI Lows for the Postseason
The month of March is officially here, and that means anything not having to do with the NCAA Tournament and March Madness become irrelevant. When the greatest sports tournament in all the land kicks off later this month, five schools will be looking extra fresh in the footwear department as they begin both their conference tournaments and their march toward an NCAA title.
Georgetown, North Carolina, Marquette, Michigan and California, all Air Jordan-sponsored schools, will receive their very own custom pairs of the AJ XXXI, replete with their school colors and team nickname written across the shoe’s heel and their official school name beneath a translucent sole.
The Tar Heels classic Carolina Blue coloring is perhaps the best version of the XXXI Low, but don’t sleep on Marquette’s. The Golden Eagles colorway of sky blue and gold makes for a crispy pair of kicks that should stand out prominently against whatever hardwood they play on.
Georgetown is having a down year and won’t make the Big Dance, and Marquette is currently on the bubble, but Michigan, Cal and North Carolina are virtual locks to make the tournament, where they’ll get to sport their new kicks. If you’re looking to support any of these five schools, you can pick up your own pair of AJ XXXI Lows when they drop on March 7.
