Dennis Schroder Takes Down LeBron James in Charity Shooting Competition
It’s the 4th quarter of Game 7 of the NBA Finals. There’s 10 seconds left. Your squad has the ball coming out of a timeout, down 3. Who do you want taking the final shot to send the game to overtime, LeBron James or Dennis Schroeder?
If your first reaction was to laugh maniacally and yell “The King, of course!” you may want to rethink things. With $10,000 on the line for charity during a promotional stop in Germany, Schroder, a native of the country, took down King James by drilling his 3-pointer after LeBron’s attempt rimmed out, much to the delight of the crowd.

OK, fine, you’d still want LeBron taking the last shot in the Finals, but after years of being knocked out of the Eastern Conference playoffs by LeBron, Schroder can finally say he beat The King in something.
