TechCrunch recently reported that Facebook’s popular photo-sharing app is set to release a component allowing Instagram users to shoot and share short video clips. Reports have surfaced that such a service was getting tested internally, and Facebook has announced a mysterious press event for later this week at its headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif.
