Tomorrow, Oct. 19, first overall 2010 NBA Draft pick and Washington Wizards guard John Wall will officially launch his signature shoe, the Reebok Zig Encore. In addition, Reebok will introduce a “J Wall” apparel line, to be sold exclusively at Foot Locker stores nationwide.
With its upper synthetic build and prominent vector logo on the side panels, the Zig Encore is similar to last year’s model, the Zig Slash, in terms of its design. However, the Encore loses last year’s checkered look and adds more perforations on the inner heel and along the toe. The collar of the right shoe features John Wall’s signature; the left displays one of his mottos—”Humble and Hungry”; and Wall’s custom logo is reproduced on the tongue—making the Encore more personalized than the Slash.

Performance-wise, the Zig technology sole still absorbs impact when you jump, which helps propel you forward while reducing wear and tear in your leg muscles.
