J.R. Smith Made the Best Entrance and the Saddest Departure at Game 4 of the NBA Finals
Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith certainly didn’t turn in a great performance in Game 4 of the NBA Finals—shooting an ice-cold 2-of-12 from the field—but he did have an awesome entrance. Prior to the game, cameras captured Smith zooming around Quickens Loan Arena on a futuristic hands-free device known as the “PhunkeeDuck.”
[youtube video=”A9WgduaeYog”]Smith’s nonchalant demeanor while riding the outrageous gadget is part of what makes this scene so great. I can only imagine what was going through Shaun Livingston’s head when he saw Smith casually hover beside him and greet him with a pat on the back.
If you want to pick up a PhunkeeDuck of your own, it’ll run you about $1,500. And if you were wondering—yes, J.R. did make a downtrodden departure on the PhunkeeDuck as well. I like to imagine that he didn’t have a car at the arena and had to solemnly ride the PhunkeeDuck all the way back to his house.
