During Monday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks, Towns got the ball near the 3-point line. A Dallas defender came out to guard him because if he didn’t, Towns would have taken the shot and most likely made it. Instead, Towns decided to take his defender to the hoop and hit him with a quick crossover to put him off balance. After Towns got space, he spun by the defender for an easy layup.

Towns looked more like a guard than a 7-foot big man. Most 7-foot players could never imagine performing that ball-handling move, but last season’s Rookie of the Year has perfected it. He finished the 101-92 win with 34 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks.
