As you’ve surely heard by now, LeBron James returns to Quicken Loans Arena tonight for his second stint as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
It’s kind of a big deal, because by joining forces with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, James is back in the area where he was born, attempting to bring Cleveland its first major sports championship since 1964. For as much vitriol as he received when he spurned the Cavaliers for the Miami Heat in 2010, all appears to be forgiven.
Nike puts Cleveland and its long tortured fan base front and center with this tear-jerking commercial featuring the Cavaliers, along with what looks like hundreds of Clevelanders, bonding together for the start of the season. Try to watch this without getting goosebumps. We dare you.
