Mitchell Trubisky Drove His Grandma’s 1997 Toyota Camry to Bears Camp
With the second pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears selected UNC quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. And now that he has been drafted, Trubisky might need to start looking to buy a car.

On Thursday, the 22-year-old rookie reported to Bears Camp at Halas Hall driving his grandma’s 1997 Toyota Camry.
According to nbcchicago.com:
“That’s my car. It’s got 170,000 miles on it so it can still lug around a little bit,” Trubisky said on draft night.

This isn’t the first case of a professional athlete driving the same old car they drove before getting drafted. San Antonio Spurs Kawhi Leonard still drives his 1997 Chevy Tahoe from high school.

On the bright side, Trubisky doesn’t have to make car payments.
