We’ve long maintained that the NBA All-Star Game is as much fashion show as an actual basketball contest, and the evidence in support of that proposition keeps piling up.
Today, the NBA released images of the socks the East and West All-Stars will rock Feb. 15 in New York City. The league has partnered with Stance, a brand known for socks that feature likeness of past All-Stars like Allen Iverson and Dennis Rodman.
The East socks feature a blue and white tie-dye design with three horizontal black stripes. A star with the NBA’s logo inside graces the back. The West socks feature a red and white tie-dye design with black stars throughout, and the same logo on the back.
These socks should make for some interesting contrasts with the flamboyant shoes the athletes are expected to wear on game day.
You can cop a pair of Stance NBA All-Star socks either at stance.com or nbastore.com for $25.
