EA has already announced that former Baylor QB Robert Griffin III will be on the cover of NCAA Football 13, together with a Heisman winner from the past. A few details have emerged regarding new additions to this year’s game, and while fans wait for more info, they’ve been voting for their pick to join RGIII, narrowing down their selections through an app on Facebook.
The finalists for the honor of joining Griffin on the cover are Barry Sanders and Herschel Walker, two of the most dominating running backs in college football history. Walker, who attended the University of Georgia, set the freshman rushing record as the Bulldogs went undefeated, winning both the National Championship and the Sugar Bowl. He won the Heisman in 1982.
Sanders was a star for Oklahoma State in the late ’80s, recording incredible stats in his 1988 Heisman-winning campaign: 2,850 rushing yards (238 yards per game) on 373 carries and 42 TDs.
So, which legendary running back would you prefer on the cover of NCAA 13? Voting is open through Monday.
